Cyber Security Award Criteria*
In the wake of the 2017 WannaCry attacks and the global risk of cyber-attacks on the rise, an increasing demand from staff to use their own devices in the workplace and an ever growing range of public services provided online resulting in an exponential growth of personal data being held by health and social care bodies; the role of the security team has never been more critical.
The Cyber Security Award will recognise those teams and individuals who have developed and implemented new and/or innovative responses to these emerging threats and helped mitigate and prevent their impact.
Entries can range from security research, to new services that help to solve today’s important security challenges, through to innovative education campaigns.
